Re: Many want a new striker signed so the question is which one?
Must confess I am surprised he never signed Adama Traoré to convert into a striker. Big, quick, no real footballing brain and doesn't know where the goal is, sounds perfect!

No point signing a striker whilst Moyes is managing us!

Haller, Hughil, Scamacca & Ings, even the 3 youth strikers that came through since he's been here didn't work out.

Be better off looking for a winger who he can convert,
Arnautovic, Antonio and Bowen.
His record with strikers is remarkable really.
Pretty sure Kane & Haaland would struggle under him.

Ludo 21 I agree with that . But the drop from pacqueta and Kudus to benrhama and fornals . Is ridiculous it's the equivalent of when Michael hutchence dumped Helena Christiansen for Paula Yates still very attractive but nowhere near the same .

Re: Many want a new striker signed so the question is which one?
Wouldn't put any money on Paqueta being here next season and I don't suppose Kudus will be far behind him unfortunately. Hope I'm wrong!

Ludo21 : Yer what striker would want to play in the same team as Kudus & Paqueta

Re: Many want a new striker signed so the question is which one?
Striker money for Moyes is pretty pointless, and I should imagine Sullivan would be reluctant to part with any for one, when they’ll only be moved on in a season or two for less money. Antonio will be back just in time for the close of the window probably. Like a new signing, innit.

Just have to hope that Guirassy wasn't watching last night... why any half decent striker would want to join with Moyes's set up and track record with Haller and Scamaca is beyond me.

Does it matter. Its clear to everyone with eyes moyes can't use strikers properly. We could sign haaland or mbappe and he wouldn't get a tune out of them.

Almost sounds like we are not going to pay top dollar for an over the hill clogger totally unsuited to the way we play.

I am excited for January 31st

Ive not had the finger on the pusle in recent months so I ask who is Steidten and what is his role} The director of football}

Re: Many want a new striker signed so the question is which one?
Thank got Steidten is in charge of transfers now at least. Past Jan windows have yielded the likes of Jordan Hugill and Danny Ings in the striker department, both ended up about as bad as they sounded at the time.

He's said he'll go to whoever pays him most

Re: Many want a new striker signed so the question is which one?
It's nowhere near as simple as just getting him in for his release clause price. If other clubs are in for him it'll be the highest bidder and/or whichever of bidding clubs he wants to go to.

He has a release clause for about £15m. About the same as Danny Ings cost us last season.

Stuttgart must want a fortune for him

Any quoted price Duke}

Re: Many want a new striker signed so the question is which one?
Possibly, but all I see is him being linked with us, Man Utd and Milan. Two big clubs, but one out of Europe, the other in a play off for the Europa League, while we are already there. Plus, we are massive.

17 in 14 apps!

Thats very impressive in a league as strong as the Bundesliga

But there must be some CL clubs interested too I imagine...
